Initial World Beater Assays Confirm Extension of Open Ended Mineralization. Drill Program Expanded.

MBA Gold Corp. (TSX Venture: MBA-V) has received initial assay results from it's current drilling program on it's World Beater gold property located in a historic mining district West of Death Valley in Inyo County, Southern California. The World Beater gold property covers approximately 1,750 acres of patented and unpatented mineral claims and includes two former mine sites; the Radcliff mine and the World Beater mine. The World Beater Property has undergone extensive exploration by previous operators Kerr-McGee, Echo Bay and Compass Minerals, including over 32,000 feet of drilling.

The purpose of the MBA reverse circulation drill program is to both extend known areas of gold mineralization and upgrade the present resource inventory from an indicated and inferred classification to that of measured. (See: August 13, 2003 News Release).

Significant assay results from the first 7 drill holes confirm the extension of open ended exhalite mineralization and will result in an expansion of the present gold resource estimate. Consequently, the initial 14 hole drill program of approximately 5,000 feet has been expanded to 26 holes of approximately 8,000 feet. These results clearly show that the present gold resource estimate will need to be recalculated and that the first phase of the drilling program is demonstrating the potential for a larger resource.

The 7 MBA drill holes were drilled as a "fence" of angle and vertical holes approximately 200 meters down dip from drill holes completed by Compass Minerals in 1997. Three of the 7 drill holes lay within the mineralized zone and of these, 2 reached the target zone. Assays for the latter 2 holes are tabulated below.
