MBA Commences Work Over Program

MBA Resources Corp. announced today that work-over operations will be carried out this week on 2 of the currently producing wells at the Company's 50% owned Gordon Creek, Utah natural gas field in the southern Uinta Basin, Carbon County, Utah. Time permitting, a 3rd well that is presently shut in will be re-worked. Work-overs of additional wells will be scheduled within the next few weeks.

The Gordon Creek project is an extension of the very successful Drunkards Wash field originally developed by River Gas Corp. and presently operated by Conoco/Phillips. The field comprises 5,953 gross acres (4,879 net acres) with four gas wells currently producing and four shut in wells, 2 of which have previously produced. Gas is marketed into a transmission pipeline operated by Questar Gas Resources that crosses the project acreage. The Gordon Creek field also includes an associated gas gathering system consisting of 6 miles of pipeline and a scaleable compression facility that services the project as well as adjacent production.

"The current work-over program is anticipated to significantly increase current production levels prior to the initiation of a 20 well drilling program on the field to commence later this year," stated Cameron White, President of MBA. "With the existing infrastructure and gathering system in place, any increases in production resulting from our re-working program or drilling program will have an immediate positive impact on cash flows."

MBA Resources is a Canadian based natural resource company that owns a 50% interest in the Gordon Creek natural gas field in the State of Utah, USA. MBA's other holdings include an oil and gas exploration project adjacent to the Stoney Creek field in New Brunswick, Canada and a gold exploration project adjacent to the Sleeper Mine in Humboldt County, Nevada.
